We are one of 35 national Government funded hubs and work with hundreds of early years, primary and secondary schools across our assigned areas of Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Leeds to raise standards and inspire children and their teachers about the power of maths. Working closely with the relevant local authorities, we will ensure that our activities complement the support already available, and build our capacity for the future.
We passionately believe everyone can be a Mathematician. As primary and secondary practitioners, we are vital to ensuring that children and young people realise this. However, we also appreciate that at times support and inspiration are needed to make this vision a reality.
If your school falls outside our designated area, you can identify your local hub by visiting www.mathshubs.org.uk. However, we are naturally happy to hear from schools if our work is of interest.
