Subject specialism training and stand-alone day courses: offering you the building blocks for mathematical success.

Our subject specialism training offers you a range of intense training sessions on key topics. All of these are based on helping delegates to not only master the topic, but to then return to the classroom with ideas that use a teaching for mastery based approach. For each topic, delegates will explore how to develop fluency, reasoning and problem solving skills with students.

These can be stand-alone sessions that delegates attend as a one off, or they can be bolted together to offer a more comprehensive package of knowledge and support.

In 2016 – 17 delegates who qualify for the Government’s Teacher Subject Specialist Training (TSST) package will be able to access these sessions free of charge and select from topics based on their needs.

The individual course pages outline the topics covered at each session, as well as specifying the number of hours accounted for if you are a TSST funded delegate or a season ticket holder.
