Free Learning Schemes – new and improved schemes available

Following the success of our schemes of learning which are used by thousands of schools around the country and beyond, we have launched new and improved schemes of learning for Years 1 to 6 in June 2017. These have been developed in response to feedback by teachers, for teachers. A range of improvements have been made including giving more time to teach key topics in greater depth, the maths curriculum has been broken down by expert teachers into a series of detailed ‘small steps’ and a new integrated approach to Fluency, Reasoning and Problem Solving has been put into place.

If you are already using our schemes, then we strongly recommend that you move to the updated schemes. Over the coming months we will be phasing out old documentation and the Dropbox account where these are hosted.

Please click here  to be taken to the schemes. Please note that this will take you to TES Resources to access the schemes and you will need to create an account if you do not have one already. Creating an account is completely free, and as always the schemes remain free to access and use.

Need to access the old versions of our schemes?

Please note the Dropbox account will be phased out over coming months. We strongly encourage you to move on to the new schemes. However, if you need to access them for any reason, they can be found here.

Extra support for you

In addition to this the NCETM have developed a fantastic series of problems, tasks and activities that can be used to support ‘Teaching for Mastery’. They have been written by a experts in mathematics.

It will also give you a detailed idea of what it means to take a mastery approach across your school. Information can be found at: https://www.ncetm.org.uk/resources/46689
